Bass are fish that need a lot of oxygen, so the best place to find one is where a runoff hits a lake, and also where its a little bit warmer. Bass are also fish that love cover, so where you find trees that create shade of the water or even branches and rocks that are already in the water are your best bet. Also bass tend to be loners and don't hang out with one another so once you catch a bass in one spot maybe cast a few more times and move to another place. In most situations bass like worms the most be it depends what season your fishing in.
